The Doorway Gallery is delighted to host an exhibition by Ken Browne called ‘Ninety Degrees in View' on Thursday, October 2nd between 6-8pm on 24 South Frederick Street. The exhibition will run until October 30th.

"More and more in the recent past I’ve been drawn to studying the story of the land, the natural curvature, the marks of ancient civilization and manmade marks of husbandry.

Now I try to sculpt with paint the shapes I see as well as sensing the vibrations of the landscape.

So my work I feel is part of an emotional journey.

I suppose I’ve moved on from my earlier influences which included Turner and Nathaniel Hone as I’m finding my own direction." Ken Browne
