“Oil painter, Kayla Martell, is a self taught artist living and painting in the beautiful countryside of Wicklow, Ireland. Her work focuses primarily on still life painting from direct observation using alla prima techniques. She is inspired by the beautiful colours and simple subjects we see every day. Each still life painting is a little conversation between her and those unique characters. ”
